The Project
As the UI/UX Designer and Developer for the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, I have been in charge up keeping the website up-to-date on the latest trends and HTML standards. This includes the needs for a mobile presence, managing and allowing multiple authors, and quick design to development turnaround.
The Solution
As the lead developer on the website for the Museum for the past 6+ years the use of Umbraco CMS accomplished all the needs of the website or its' website presence. Multiple authors are able to author and edit pages, add multi media, and allows quick turn around coding changes. I developed the website to meet our ever changing base of mobile, desktop and tablet users allowing responsive design practices and developing components of the website to load quickly for most any device.
